Tashayla Williams is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Tashayla has a BA in Criminal Justice, BA in Sociology, and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She is currently a Ph.D Candidate for Human Services. Tashayla has worked with individuals with disabilities, abused and neglected teenagers, individuals with alcohol and substance abuse issues, returning citizens, those who are incarcerated, individuals, couples, and groups. She is the founder of the Offender To Returning Citizen-Transition Program that utilizes expresses art and music therapy in minimum to supermax prisons and the founder of Minority Mindz Inc. where she has launched Minority Mindz Academy where she provides courses for the community and mental health professionals. Additionally, Tashayla is the author of, ‘Broke Entrepreneur: How to start a business with little to no money, ‘Lyrical Reflections of Childhood Trauma’, and ‘ CBT Workbook: 50 Lyrical Reflections of Childhood Trauma Activities for Adults’. Tashayla provides therapy nationally to countries including the United States, Cayman Islands, Australia,  Dubai, and Canada. Tashayla is from Washington D.C. but currently resides in New York.
