The Haile Clacken Bipolar Foundation is a public charity with the mission to provide relief for those affected by bipolar disorder; improve public attitude, and dispell misconceptions and stigma surrounding mental illnesses. The foundation formed in January 2018, in honor of Haile Clacken, who was killed at age 36 on June 23, 2017.  Haile Clacken, a former teacher, journalist, writer, philanthropist, and visionary was husband and father who lived a successful life after being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in his late teens. The foundation will official launch on May 6, 2018 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica with guest speaker Dr. Fred Hickling.
